# Overview

> DeFi-native KRW

BATT는 암호자산을 담보로 원화 스테이블코인 KRW\*(KRW Star)를 발행하는 프로토콜입니다.

암호자산을 팔지 않고 원화 기준으로 빌리고, 보유한 KRW\*를 예치하고, 다른 프로토콜에서 활용하는 경로를 연결합니다.

## Connect the ecosystem

KRW\*를 발행하는 것만으로 거래와 대출 시장이 생기지는 않습니다. BATT는 KRW\*를 사용하는 마켓에 인센티브를 보내는 ERI와, 유동성을 배분하는 ERL을 통해 GIWA의 사용처를 연결하려 합니다.
